Avoid Waterproof Eye Products

Waterproof makeup won't wash off with regular face wash, despite the name. It typically requires an oil-based cleaner to remove, which is a no-no when it comes to extensions. You don't even need mascara or liner as the extensions provide a comparable look to traditional eye-enhancing cosmetics. If you still want to go with a traditional eye makeup appearance, it's best to go with a non-waterproof option so that your makeup is simpler to remove.

Avoid Water for the First 48 Hours

Once your fresh set of extensions are installed, any moisture around the eyes is a no-go. You want the glue to set in so that your lashes last as long as possible. Wash around the eye when cleansing their face and use an oil-free makeup remover if they have to clean makeup off.
